Diet for high blood pressure patients

One should take less amount of salt and avoid drugs like smoking, alcohol, hemp, coffee, tea etc. Non-Vegetarian food and granulated white sugar should also be avoided. Take only milk and fruits throughout the day for twice a month.

High Blood Pressure patients should take diet which contains balance of proteins, minerals, carbohydrates, fats and vitamins.


Proteins : - Soyabean is the rich source of protein. It should be included in the regular diet.

Minerals:- Minerals keep your blood pressure under control. Amount of Iron is very important for healthy blood pressure.

Carbohydrates and fats:- Carbohydrates and fats are important to provide energy to the body, Fried food and sweets contain good amount of them but they should be in taken in control.

Physical workout or exercise is must in order to burn fat otherwise it can cause obesity, diabetes and many other diseases.

Vitamins:- Vitamins play very important role in keeping your body fit. These elements are normally found in all eatable items in small or large quantity.
